Creo Medical received further recognition for the innovation, quality and impact of their products yesterday, winning the primary award at the MediWales Innovation awards against stiff competition.
The MediWales Innovation Awards are an annual opportunity to showcase and celebrate incredible work across the Life Sciences sector and the impact it is having on driving better health and economic wellbeing.
As one of ten awards to be won across industry and NHS categories, the win is testament to the excellence of what Creo Medical continue are delivering; and how they and their products are viewed by others across the industry. They will now represent Wales at the UK awards in 2022.
It caps a successful year of awards for Creo, with the company winning or recognised at an array of events throughout the year – not least making the final three of the prestigious MacRobert Award – the UKs most prestigious UK engineering award.
Craig Gulliford, Chief Executive Officer of Creo, commented:
Being an existing customer of Aber and having worked closely with the management team for a number of years, we are familiar with the quality of its products and the team there, and I’d like to welcome them all to the Creo Group. This acquisition fits with the ‘Buy’ aspect of our three-tiered ‘Build, Buy, Partner’ strategy, in acquiring a company with existing manufacturing operations, to complement and add capability in Creo’s product development and production.
Andrew Haynes, Managing Director of Aber Electronics, commented:
We are pleased to join Creo Medical, with which we have a longstanding business relationship. We look forward to providing our specialist Microwave and RF products, and development and manufacturing capability as part of the Creo Group.
